Responsibilities:

• Install various flooring types, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, and tile
• Utilize skills in other trades to enhance flooring installations
• Conduct routine visual inspections to ensure quality workmanship
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate effectively within a team

Qualifications:

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate driver’s license prior to employment
• 3-5 year combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
• Successful completion of a 10 hour OSHA safety course
• Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the building trades
• Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Experience in other trades is a plus

• Verify all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are prepared for each job and are out for delivery in a timely manner
• Determine and implement layout of materials to achieve the customer’s desired pattern
• Remove old materials, including tile, grout, and other adhesive
• Cut and shape materials to fit layout specifications, including corners, angles, and around objects
• Mix and apply plaster, mortar, concrete, glue, or other adhesives to form a bed for other materials
• Application of materials (including but not limited to wood, tile, granite, LVT, and marble to floors, walls, ceilings and roof decks)
• Aligning and straightening tile
• Taking daily pictures of the job progress for the foreman and provide estimate of remaining scope of the job
• Utilize skills in other trades to enhance flooring installations
• Conduct routine visual inspections to ensure quality workmanship
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Supplies and mixes construction materials, applies grout, and cleans installed tile
• Moves tiles, tile setting tools, and work devices from storage area to installation site
• Mixes mortar and grout according to standard formulas
• Applies grout between joints of installed tile, using grouting trowel
• Cleans installation site, mixing and storage areas, and installation machines, tools, and equipment, using water and various cleaning tools
• Cleans machines, tools and equipment used by tile setters being assisted by finisher
• May modify mixing, grouting, grinding, and cleaning procedures according to type of installation or material used

• Spread, level, or smooth concrete or terrazzo mixtures to form bases or finished surfaces, using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, hand or power screeds, or floats
• Move terrazzo installation materials, tools, machines, or work devices to work areas, manually or using wheelbarrow
  Build wooden molds, clamping molds around areas to be repaired, or setting up frames to the proper depth and alignment

Responsibilities:

• Analyze architectural drawings and project documents to determine the scope and requirements of potential projects
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for time, labor, and materials
• Utilize electronic estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify project details
• Review and evaluate historical data to enhance the accuracy of estimates
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather additional project information
• Ensure all estimates align with company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations

Qualifications:
